Lake Tillery catfish with Carolina All Out

Lake Tillery has quality flathead and blue catfish

Chris Douglas, host of Carolina All Out joined up with Phil Elam of E and E Guide Service to show us what it takes to catch Lake Tillery catfish. Elam is a big fan of catching both blues and flatheads. And he said Tillery is a good spot for both species of catfish.

As many catfishing trips do, this one starts out with the anglers catching bait, which adds to the fun.

North of Florence, S.C. and east of Charlotte, Lake Tillery is located between Badin Lake and Blewett Falls Lake. It’s an impoundment of the Pee Dee River, and is part of the Uwharrie Lakes Region. The lake sits entirely inside Montgomery and Stanly counties.
