Officials with the Long Bay Artificial Reef Association Club Challenge said they had made the decision to indefinitely postpone the family oriented tournament, which serves as a major fundraiser for the Reef Association.  They said they were examining the fall tournament calendar and hoped to soon announce a date with no conflicts.

The Club Challenge is a “Bragging Rights” tournament between the general membership of numerous North Carolina saltwater fishing clubs.  There are divisions for king mackerel and flounder.  The winning club in each division holds the trophy for the next year.
