DROPPED CALL moved into fourth place with this 524.7-pound blue marlin on day five of the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament.

61st Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament ends today

On Friday, DROPPED CALL brought in a 524.7-pound blue marlin. They moved into fourth place in the heaviest blue marlin category. The six-day tournament will wrap up today at 2 p.m.

Friday’s daily prizes for the gamefish categories saw some good fish. PREDATOR’s 145.1-pound tuna took over first place for that species. MARSH MADNESS caught an 18.1-pounder for second place on the day.

In the wahoo category, UNO MAS brought in a nice 59.3-pounder for first place. CAN DO TOO took second with a 22.2-pound wahoo.

THERESA JEAN got the first place daily prize for dolphin with their 24.4-pound mahi. WHITE CAPS took second with a 23.8-pounder.

Heaviest Marlin category

The top three in the heaviest blue marlin category have remained the same since day one. WOLVERINE leads with a 589.9-pound marlin. They stand to win $793,187 if they maintain first place after today’s fishing is done. DONNA MAE is in second place with a 569.9 pounder. They’ll collect $289,862 if they’re not unseated. SWEETUMS is in third with their 545.4-pound marlin, which was the first fish weighed of the tournament. If they stay in third, they’ll add $192,575 to their coffers.

DROPPED CALL moved into fourth place with Friday’s catch. They sit just outside the money on the leaderboard.

Billfish Release category

DRILLIN & BILLIN moved into first place with a total of 1600 points. They started Friday off with 1200 points from their triple play of blue marlin on day two. They added another blue marlin yesterday, upping their current score to 1600 and putting them in the top spot at the top of day six.

ANNIE O is in second place with 1450 points, followed by FULL PULL in third with 1200 points.

Heaviest Dolphin

JOB SITE is in first place with 53.7 pounds. SEA WOLF is second with their 48.4-pounder. SAVANNA LEIGH is in third with 36.2.

Heaviest Tuna

It took until day five for anyone to bring a tuna to the scales. PREDATOR leads it with their 145.1 pound bull. MARSH MADNESS is in second with 18.1.

Heaviest Wahoo

UNO MAS shook up the heaviest wahoo category with their 59.3-pounder which moved them into first place. BILL COLLECTOR is currently in second with 56.5 pounds, followed by CAN DO TOO’s 22.2-pounder, which has them in third place.
