Pro angler offers muddy water bass fishing tips

Muddy water fishing secrets from Brian Latimer

Living in the Carolinas, fishing for muddy water bass is a fact of life. Spring showers, summer thunderstorms, rain from hurricanes, and runoff from snow up north that trickles into our waterways are constant sources of muddy water. Pro bass angler Brian Latimer actually doesn’t mind fishing in muddy water.

Latimer said muddy water concentrates the fish in shallower water close to structure. And he finds that he only needs a handful of lures to catch fish in muddy water. In the attached video, he covers what those lures are, why he likes them, and offers his thoughts on color choices.

Check out his video and you’ll be hoping for more muddy water.
