Inspirational message from bass pro Brian Latimer

Latimer struggled early in his fishing career

Brian Latimer of Belton, S.C. worked his way up to the top of the bass fishing world, and won an FLW Tour tournament that netted him $100,000 last season. But it almost didn’t happen. Earlier in his career he gave up fishing. And he said he wasn’t sure he’d ever come back to it.

Whether you’re a struggling tournament angler, or are just thinking about quitting whatever your passion in life is, Latimer’s message is a good one. He doesn’t fish at all in this video, but the story he tells is well-worth a listen.

  1. Good read and great advice. Sometimes it just takes stepping back to really see the big picture and realize the dream you had was just that a dream. However as Brian shows it may give you that extra drive to make that dream reality.
