Bass anglers, it’s tournament time

Two local tournament trails test anglers’ skills, offer good payouts

Let’s face it, winter is over! Well, it’s close enough to being over to get most bass anglers excited about being on the water, because spring means tournament time for many folks across the state. And no matter what tournament trail you belong to, opportunities have never been more plentiful.

The Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail has a strong following across the Palmetto State, and it is hosting 15 South Carolina tournaments beginning on Feb. 27 and running through June. They’ve increased their payouts for this season, with a guaranteed 1st place prize of $5000. Their tournaments are as follows:
