Will Hales

My name is Will Hales, and I took this bear Saturday, November 22. I was hunting in Tyrell County, watching a smaller bear on a bait pile when this one decided to try to climb in the stand with me. At 4 ft away, I shot it in the head with a .30-30, it fell off the ladder, and still ran! I placed a 2nd shot at full run, hitting it between the shoulder blades and rolling it. It was by far the craziest hunt ive ever had.
