Calder Futrell ( My son) is 5 and loves duck hunting. Unlike even some adults, at 4 a.m., he wakes right up when he knows the morning consists of going duck hunting with daddy. These ducks were shot at a hike we hunt in Ocean Isle Beach.
Although we are “salty” about this being the last Saturday of the season, a surprise visit from a mallard-black duck hybrid definitely made it better.
To top it all off, the excitement in Calder’s eyes watching the mallards work was priceless!
