Feather-headed gobbler was surprise to Micheal Herlihy

While hunting in Williamsburg County, SC on April 10, 2023, Michael Herlihy of Moncks Corner killed a feather-headed gobbler that was quite a surprise for the hunter.

“I’ve never seen a bird with feathers growing from its head,” said Herlihy.

The unique gobbler weighed 17 pounds, had a 10.5-inch beard and 1-inch spurs.
