Once-in-a-lifetime hunt for Suttle family

April 30, 2023 was an extra-special day for a family from Charlotte, NC, when each member of the family killed a gobbler. Haley (mom), Shannon (dad) and Lincoln (son) Suttle all had a hunt to remember.

“What a day for my family. My boy Lincoln killed his first turkey. It had an 11-inch beard and 1 1/8-inch spurs. Haley’s bird and my bird had 10-inch beards. And it was my wife’s birthday. We all killed a turkey during the same hunt. It was a once-in-a-lifetime hunt,” said Shannon Suttle.

They were hunting in Rutherford County, NC.

Congratulations to the Suttles, who are now entered in our 2023 Tag-A-Turkey Contest.

This makes them eligible for our grand prize, which includes a 3-year subscription to Carolina Sportsman Magazine, a Thermacell prize package, a Convergent Hunting Solutions Bullet HP Bluetooth predator call, a Millennium Field Pro Turkey Seat, and numerous other prizes.
