Jordan Jessup of Westfield, N.C. didn’t take long tagging out of North Carolina’s 2022 turkey hunting season. He downed a 22-pound gobbler on opening morning in Surry County. The bird had a 10-inch beard and 1 1/4-inch spurs.

Then that Monday afternoon, April 11, he struck again, this time in Stokes County.

Jessup shot both gobblers with his Mossberg 835 with a load of 3.5-inch Longboard XR.
