Jacob Bowman put a 55-yard shot on this magnificent bird in Guilford County, NC.
9 3/8-inch beard, 1 3/8-inch spurs, and 26 pounds. We called Jimmy Horney asking if we could use their certified scales; Neil Horney his son met us at Julian Milling Company, after hours, so we could weigh this bird on certified scales.
Joey Bowman, Jacob’s dad and little brother Jason, aka Squirrel, all set up on their land and called in this beautiful longbeard.
Just awesome that Jacob closed the deal on his 3rd day of ever hunting turkeys. Even better he shared this experience with his dad and brother by his side.
