My first turkey
Here’s is my public land turkey from April 2023. I’ve been hunting all my life and have never been able to get one until now.
After coming home so many times empty handed, I went on my first solo hunt yesterday and was able to call in and shoot this beautiful Tom. 10-inch, partially gray beard and a nice set of spurs. I’m so thankful to the Lord that He let me have this experience. This is truly the greatest and most rewarding feeling in the world! After sitting through thunderstorms and waking up at 5 a.m. since season started, it made this turkey all the more special.
