Russell Smith, 11-years-old, worked several days chasing this Cabarrus County gobbler with a 10.5-inch beard that he was able to find on April 12, 2022 before school. And he even made it to school on time! The bird wasn’t down long before he said “dad send my picture to the sportsman!” He looks forward every month to your magazine.
