“The Mailman” shares his tips on night hunting
On this week’s episode of the PG and Boatgirl Outdoors Podcast, Gene Wisnewski talks about hunting after the sun goes down. He is an avid coyote and wild hog hunter, and is passionate about figuring out what makes these animals tick.
Wisnewski believes hunters should utilize technology to their advantage. But he doesn’t rely solely on it. He loves being able to use tools like night vision and thermal imaging, but he combines that with good old fashioned woodsman skills to consistently kill these nuisance animals. He is one of the most experienced night hunters in the Carolinas, and is happy to help grow the sport.
