Mason Pitts got a 8 pointer on the SC Youth Day in Game Zone 2. He and his dad, Andy Pitts, had been keeping an eye on this deer for a couple weeks leading up to the September 14 youth day in Lancaster County where they live. With multiple daylight appearances on their trail camera, their confidence was high that they would see the deer that morning. The deer read the script and showed up right after daylight, just as they had hoped. A well placed shot from his 6.5 Creedmoor the he had gotten for Christmas last year from his parents was all it took for Mason to have his first buck of the season. He also had one EXTREMELY happy and proud Dad to boot!!!!
