This was his first deer that he has killed at just 6 years old my name is Logan gibson his father we went the Sunday before and he spooked a few deer by moving a little to much trying to take the shot but the next Sunday we got up in the stand and he looked at me and told me he wanted to shoot the deer by himself did not want me to tell him. when to shoot he had been practicing with his tenppoint crossbow all summer to get ready for this so I knew he could do it so when the spike walked out he did not see it at first but I told him it was coming and when it got behind a tree I slid him the bow and told him to shoot when he was ready when the deer got in the corn at 25 yards he took his shot hit him perfect and he did not run but 80 yards and after he clamed down he looked up at me and told me thank you he would never have been able to do it with me I will have to say that a little spike deer meant so much more to me than any big deer that I have ever killed being with my son and watching him kill his first deer
