Buck had 9 points I’ve been watching him all season. I never have seen him in daylight on camera. Once the rut started he disappeared on camera. I got my last picture of him December 1st and nothing since. At last light on the 18th I was hunting over a winter wheat field watching a few does eating when all of a sudden I see antlers sticking out of this thick brush that the does came out and was just staring into the field. The does caught my wind and started blowing the buck went back into the brush. I thought I wouldn’t see him again. The does never spooked off and 5 mins later he came out of the thick brush and offered me a shot. The buck was about 80 yards away I was using a 30.06
