It was October 29, 2024 and a cold front had came through and I figured the deer be on there feet. I was hunting on the back side of a corn field hunting about 10 ft off the ground in a popular tree and at 615 this 8pt came by at 8 yards and gave me a perfect broadside shot with my recurve and the Simmons broadhead did its job.
