JAK outdoors

My daughter, 11 yo Sophie Kummer,, with her very first deer. (A 3 point buck.) This is her first season hunting with a gun. I (her dad) let her use my .45 long colt lever action rifle on opening day of rifle season. While sitting in the tower blind I put together for us to hunt in back in the summer,, at 4:30 pm this 3 point chases a doe across the field we were hunting in. Luckily, instead of continuing to chase the doe he turned and ran right to us, then stopped and turned broad side at 30 yards… she dropped him where he stopped!!! Got down took some daytime pictures then got back and finished the day in the blind talking and laughing about what just happened, then got better pictures after dark when the mosquitoes wasn’t trying to take us away. (Now time to get back out there and get another one)
