⁃ watched deer since July 2024
⁃ nicknamed the buck “Moose”
⁃ moved him to the hard woods from a big food plot
⁃ hunted opening morning seen a doe and a small 8 pointer, we left around 9am but I wanted to stay all day because i was so excited
⁃ came back opening evening 4:45pm settled in ground blind
⁃ I prayed so many times sitting in the blind for him to come in that evening
⁃ We seen 2 does come in to start eating the corn, one left immediately because the other doe didn’t like her there
⁃ then the doe left around 7:20pm
⁃ Austin Shreve and I stood up to stretch our legs, Josh
sitting on a bucket in the blind looked in binoculars and seen him “moose” standing 40 yards away
⁃ told Austin Shreve to get me behind crossbow real slow and easy that he was close and looking up at the area
⁃ moose came in, eating cob corn and wild berry crush, quartered away at 20yards my legs were shaking and i put the crossbow on him and sent an arrow through him
⁃ the first thing i did was thanked God for giving me the opportunity to see him and answer my prayers and jumped up and down!
⁃ we left and gave him some time
⁃ call my parents so excited, and some friends to come help drag him out
⁃ came back tracked blood and found him 80 yards from where he was standing.
