This past weekend turned into an unforgettable milestone for 13 year old Bryleigh from Winnabow, North Carolina. While visiting with family in Dillon County, SC, she stepped into the woods with hope but walked out with a story most hunters dream of.
Armed with her .270 Browning BAR, Bryleigh watched as a 10 point buck charged into the field, chasing a doe. The pair disappeared into the treeline for a moment, leaving her holding her breath. But luck and skill were on her side. The buck circled back out into the open, giving her the opportunity every young hunter waits for.
With steady hands and sharp focus, Bryleigh set her crosshairs on him at 200 yards. One smooth trigger pull later, the buck dropped clean in his tracks.
For her first deer, Bryleigh didn’t just get a harvest she earned a trophy and a lifelong memory. Her patience, precision, and natural skill behind the rifle prove she’s got the makings of a true hunter.
Congratulations to Bryleigh on a remarkable first buck and an incredible start to her hunting journey
