We had a hunt planned for Saturday morning and my wife had asked me to delay going hunting to help her get the kids ready for a football game. We have a 2 month old, a 4 year old, 7 year old and 11 year old and she just wanted a little help that Saturday morning. So I asked some of they fellas we hunt with to delay long enough for me to make it there. Luckily Friday evening my wife tells me that my mother in law will be there Saturday morning and I can go ahead hunting. I still held off leaving too early just in case and everyone waited for me to make it before making the hunt. Within 30 minutes of getting there the dogs run this big boy right to me at about 40 yard and I got a good shot on him with my brothers hand loaded TSS buckshot and the celebrating commenced. All I could do was shout and praise The Lord for such a blessing. Every little thing fell perfectly into place for me to be abled to get this deer. Everyone gathered up to see and celebrate harvesting such a nice animal. And all the glory was given to The Master for allowing us to do what we love.
