This deer I’m pretty sure is of the same bloodline as the deer that was so special to me 3 years ago. His name was Notch. I hunted him for 2 years. I finally got him on December 12,2022. Took 2 years to get his mount back so he was a 4 year process. When I saw Simba on camera in July I knew he was from the same bloodline. He had the same curve of the neck,the same amount of points on either side down to the claw tip. This afternoon on Halloween he came out. The only deer I had seen all day. He looked the opposite direction and I took my first neck shot. HE DROPPED! The rest is history!
