OL scarecrow buck!! tagged out on bucks goodtimes! my best times!!! killing another eight pointer 5 days prior, That was very nice,same property in stokes county.
Most big bucks i’ve ever seen on the property this year, and this guy shows back up. I’ve had some experience with this guy before around the same time last year, my daughter named him scarecrow. several chances but I didn’t get to make it. Finally got to see him one morning, shot at him 60yards. The shot went high, he kind of disappeared had a couple photos of him at the end of last year, but this year he came back, really crazy looking. all most same time..I knew with the cold coming in i would have a good chance to see him and sure enough I did.. He came in last minute 40 yards quarter to me from the pines, heading into the persimmon trees.16 deer in the field that evening he made it hard for me the way he was facing and me shaking like a leaf on the tree..But the R10 rage 2″ hypodermic worked great.. I watched the arrow hit him in the scope. He kind of went down when xbow went off and hit kind of high but looked ok.. thought I heard him go down in the bottom.I gave some time got down. Couldn’t find the arrow or blood. Decided to back out, cried most of the night lol stayed strong though🫨 went back in the morning and found him 100yards ..I’ll be on cloud 10 for awhile 🙏 blessed! Mainframe 8 with a bunch of trash can count at least ten points!! Stokes County mega.
