I had seen this deer last year and couldn’t get a shot it was only 8 points then. I started seeing him only at night on my camera. Never had a daylight photo. I saw a doe come into my shooting lane no more than 40 yards from my stand. Took a quick photo of her, then he stepped out behind her. I took my shot, .300 blk out with handloaded 150gr soft point. I hunt with a suppressor and supersonic ammo. He went down about 25yards from where he was hit. My heart was about to beat out of my chest. Very exciting. Only my 3rd deer, I didn’t start hunting till I was older.
