Tabitha Pennell bagged a tall racked 8 we had named Francis in December. We had hunted this deer after putting him on the hit list after he showed up in summer trail cam pictures. Tabitha had him at 30 yards during archery but did not feel comfortable taking the shot. We are careful about hunting only when the wind is right to minimize the chance of spooking deer. On December 15th conditions were right and Francis showed up giving Tabitha a broadside shot, the Hornady Custom Light .308 found its mark.
