NC hunter kills two extra-beam bucks

He killed the extra-beam bucks in two different counties

Harley Oxendine of Pembroke, NC killed two bucks, both with an extra beam, during the 2022 season. He killed the bucks in two different counties.

On Sept. 27, 2022, Oxendine killed an 8-point buck with an extra beam in Robeson County. He drilled that buck with a Hoyt Venom compound bow with a 27-yard shot at about 7:15 p.m.

A little more than a month later, he was hunting in Anson County when he shot a 10-point buck, also growing an extra main beam. He shot this buck with a Savage Axis in 6.5 Creedmoor on Nov. 5 from 80 yards away at 7:20 a.m.

He had not seen either one of the deer in person, but he did have trail camera photos of them.
