8-point piebald buck puts Stevens in Bag-A-Buck Contest

Brittany Stevens of N. Augusta, S.C. killed a trophy buck in Aiken County on Aug. 16, 2022. The 8-point buck had a piebald pattern throughout its body, and the rack was in full velvet.

Stevens was hunting on the ground in a wooded area near a bait pile. She had never laid eyes on the deer before the hunt, but she had seen trail camera photos of it. A 150-yard shot from her Churchill .30-06 put the buck on the run.

The deer disappeared from her sight, and she wasn’t able to track it very far. She called on Jamie Holler and his tracking dog Spud, who located the deer shortly after giving chase.

Congratulations to Stevens on her unique trophy. She is now entered in our Bag-A-Buck Contest, and is in the running for these monthly prizes and our Grand Prize package:
