I’ve been rifle hunting since I was a kid, but decided to pick up a bow about 3 years ago. I’ve hunted hard and had a few opportunities and it all came together October 4th. Only 2 days after my birthday. My target buck came in from my left and gave me a hard quarting shot at 15 yards. I let the arrow fly which was followed by a huge mule kick. He took off on a hard run and I heard him crash shortly after. we gave him plenty of time before starting to track just to be safe. We found him only 50 yards from the impact. It was my first bow kill and also my biggest buck ever. To say that I am forever addicted to bow hunting is an understatement.
