Michael Skipper kills two NC giant bucks

Michael Skipper killed one giant with muzzleloader, one with bow

Michael Skipper had a stellar 2023 deer hunting season. He killed two 12-point bucks, both giants, on public land in North Carolina.

On Sept. 30, 2023, Skipper killed a Hoke County buck that green-scored 177 4/8 inches. It was the opening day of muzzleloader season in eastern NC.

Then, on Nov. 30, he killed his second 12-point of the year, this one in Cumberland County. This buck green-scored 177 7/8 inches. Skipper shot this one with his Hoyt bow.
