Konnor Grooms kills Thanksgiving buck in Alamance County

Twelve-year-old Konnor Grooms and his father went on a Thanksgiving tradition hunt, and this year paid off. The evening before, Konnor shot over the top of a smaller buck. The next evening it paid off with his first ever buck. 7 pointer. Konnor had to make a quick decision before the buck ran off. He was facing directly at Konnor. He knocked him down with a fatal neck and chest shot! Deer was shot near Alamance County, Burlington NC area.
