Jay CarrickMorning hunt produces last Youth Day buck

Jay Carrick of Madison, NC killed a 9-point buck in Rockingham County, NC on Sept. 28, 2024. He shot the buck with a Savage .300 WinMag from 145 yards away out of an elevated box stand. The 17-year-old found the buck 40 yards away from the shot. It was the perfect way to spend his last ever Youth Day, said his dad.
