Trophy buck had huge bases on 8-point rack
Hunter Hipp shot this deer at 4 yards with his late pawpaw’s muzzleloader in Rowan County, NC on Nov. 4, 2023. The 8-point buck with a 2-inch kicker off the back beam with 6 1/2-inch bases was a true giant for the region, weighing just under 230 pounds. It’s the biggest buck Hipp has killed so far.
