Hadley Warren kills wide-racked buck

Wide-racked buck had 20+ inch inside spread

Hadley Warren works for Ruger Firearms, and she put her Ruger American 270 to work on Nov. 14, killing a wide-racked Rockingham County buck that sported a 20 1/2-inch inside spread. The buck weighed 196 pounds. It was a deer that she and her hunting buddies had a history with over the past several months.

Warren pulled the trigger on the buck while looking through her Vortex scope, sending her 150-grain Nosler Trophy Grade ammo into the deer’s vitals. This is her second season of hunting deer and is thrilled with her kill.
