Over the Holiday weekend, I got my first buck in Johnston County hunting with a buddy and his son. My 7-point deer is the first full size buck since I started hunting in NC. I saw 3 other bucks but could not get a shot until this one came out and stood on the edge of field looking for a doe where I had placed some estrus scent. I got the buck on Saturday morning around 9:45am.
