Saw the deer on the property and decided to go grab my crossbow and see if I had a chance to get him. I walked with my husband into the blind on our land and we sat for maybe 10 or 15 minutes. I heard something walking and I told my husband that is the deer I saw. He was walking towards me and I was struggling to get the right shot on him. I made sure I could see the sweet spot and decided this is it. I was able to put him down at 29 yards. I’ve been telling my husband all I wanted was to get a buck and I’d be happy! I was finally able to do it and it was such a exciting evening with my husband by my side as I got my first buck!
