On Saturday morning during our annual hunting trip, Evan harvested an 8-point buck — his first big buck. We arrived early and were set up in the stand when the deer stepped out along the tree line 80 yards down the sandy road. As it began to cross in front of us, Evan made a quick, clean shot to secure the 8-pointer.
