This buck started showing up earlier in the evening every day. Had him on camera scraping the ground and could count on him coming by atleast once a day checking things out. Around 5:30pm I texted my dad, who was hunting roughly 400 yards away through the woods, that there was “two does coming in and hope they are HOT”. Before I could hit the send button I looked up and saw him coming in hot, nose straight out b-lining for the does. I slung my 270 up not wasting any time and made a decent 110 yard shot. He ran about 30 yards.
