I was in school that morning and a pic was sent to my phone from a trail camera. This was the time seeing this deer. I texted my dad the picture and told him he needed to get on that stand that afternoon and he couldn’t get out of work in time to get in the woods. He told me to get in there after school and see if I could get a shot if he came back that afternoon. The deer came back in just before the sun set and I made a good shot about 25 yards with my Hoyt Bow. The deer ran about 50 yards and piled up next to the creek. Just an awesome hunt and my biggest buck I’ve taken.
