Cason Surratt kills piebald buck in Anson County

I killed this piebald 5-point buck in Anson County, NC.

My dad and I were hunting with some friends on the evening of Dec. 20, 2023. We had a group of does come out into the shooting lane about a half hour before dark. Then this buck came out about 10 minutes after that. When I saw this buck coming, I looked at him through the binoculars and realized that he was piebald. When I told my dad he was piebald, he didn’t believe me. After dad looked at him through the binoculars, he sent a text “make sure it is ok to harvest.” After getting the go ahead I settled in with my 7mm-08 and made an 80-yard broadside shot.
