I’ve been an avid hunter since I can remember. I’ve killed many nice deer, but this one takes the check mark for craziest. My wife first saw him late August with velvet from our back porch in the field. We hunted together several times but he was smart and only came out in the dark. The weather finally changed and cooled down so I knew the deer were moving. Friday night I got in the stand and bucknasty messed up. He was after a little buck and I shot him with my crossbow between 20-30 yards. He didn’t go far. It was a fun hunt for a crazy deer we never had on camera before.
