My husband and his friend had spent several months building this new deer stand and this was our first time hunting in it. I am short….5’2 and couldn’t see out of the window so I had to fold my husbands hunting bibs and sweatshirt up and use them as a booster seat. My feet barely touched the floor. Buck came out at 6:05 still bright daylight. From about 100 yards away took a shot as he was walking up a hill almost past my visual field! Sitting on a booster seat with my feet barely touching the floor dropped him in the field! Only my second deer ever (killed a small spike once 4 years ago ) and haven’t hunted in 4 years! Great date night with my husband!
