I was hunting the edge of a standing corn field on September 27, 2025. I’ve had several big deer visiting a camera I have place on the field edge. At about 6:30pm I looked up and noticed a corn stalk shaking back and forth rapidly. I then observed a 7 pointer was getting a corn cob off the stalk. I then spotted the big 8 standing on the edge of the standing corn about 40 yards from me. He started to make his way past me while I was in my summit climber stand. When he got to 25 yards i smoked him with my Bowtech Revolt compound bow.
