As I made my way through the fields, headed to my stand, I stumbled upon a few deer already out feeding, also several bucks roaming around. I slid into the edge of the woods to hopefully sneak a little closer to the field, as I made my way there I could tell the bucks were making their way back to bedding. I circled around into the woods to hopefully head them off before they could get there. Luckily I found a great spot to kneel down and I could see some racks coming through the woods. As they entered the area I was they began making scrapes and rubs and started moving my way. There was a big tree between us that allowed me to draw back without being seen. The deer appeared on the other side, a little quartered away, and I let the arrow go! The deer ran about 15 feet and fell over! I will never forgot this hunt!
