Hunter Satterwhite, better known as “Bean,” killed this giant NC buck on Wednesday, Sept 13, 2023.
Bean was in a stand while his dad and younger brother were in another stand about 800 yards away. Bean called his dad and said “I just shot a monster with a kicker.” I could tell he was shaking by the tone in his voice.
When I told his younger brother Austin that Bean had shot a big one, Austin was so excited for his brother he would not even sit till dark to see if he could get a shot at one. He said “dad, I’m going to help my brother.”
It was an exciting time for the boys and dad.
