My brother has been scouting this deer for the past few weeks and offered to let me shoot it. So this morning we sat in the stand till 9 and didn’t see anything. We decided after that we would hunt him this afternoon. So we went out, sat in the stand at 3, waited all afternoon, and finally he walked out. As soon as he turned broadside I took my shot and he ran about 20 yards and dropped. We had been praying all day to get a shot at this deer and we finally got him. It was worth the wait and all the hunts where we didn’t have any luck at all.
