My son Eli shot this buck on our family farm near lake hartwell in Anderson SC. He saw him first thing in the morning and waited for the perfect shot. He took the shot somewhere between 80 and 100 yards. He shot it with his savage 243. He trailed the deer with his daddy through two cow pastures and a neck of woods. They found the deer in our horse pasture with our horse, Dually, standing over it. Dually looked at Eli like ‘where have you guys been? I found your deer!’
