My name is Brian Rudi, I live and hunt in Polk County. I over slept the morning of the hunt and got in my stand around 8:45. I was watching a Grey squirrel and saw some movement in the laurels. The buck stepped out about 80 yards away then stopped behind a tree. I waited patiently and when he walked into an opening I shot him with my 7mm mag. He ran about 60 yards before dropping. I don’t put out game cameras anymore so I was surprised to see him.
