I was running dogs with a bunch of my good buddies, we jumped the buck in a cut down he ran a bunch of circles for a good 45 minutes until he finely made a break. He came out on me at about 225 yards and I shot at him hitting him on my 3rd shot. We let the dogs go on him not knowing if he was hit or not, I went around the block and waited incase he wasn’t hit. The dogs took the track and pushed him right back to me, he came out at about 70 yards and I put a great shot on him double lung. He ran across the road and went about 40 yards and died. We didn’t realize I hit him the first time shooting at him until we skinned him out. It is my biggest buck ever in my life and I can’t be more happy
